Animal Shelter Portraits: Photography Book

Hello friends... how's it going with you? This post is dedicated to the animals in the animal shelters; I mean those animals that are kept in the facilities that house lost, abandoned and homeless animals that need care and love - probably a little more than what our domestic pooches are getting. My friend Adynah Johnson's company - Mark Batty Publisher (a book publishing company based in Brooklyn, NY), where Adynah is currently working as publicity coordinator, has come up with a highly admirable, 96 pages book called Animal Shelter Portraits.

This photography book is comprised of deeply compassionate and haunting portraits of our furred friends. This  book contains stellar photographs of these helpless animals abandoned at kill shelters. Photographer Mark Ross’s compelling photographs capture a snapshot glimpse of our animal companions in their moment of greatest need, acting as a reminder that our decision to adopt them is the difference between life and death. A percentage of proceeds will go to The No Kill Advocacy Center.
